University Scholarships

Each of the below programs has an Admissions Committee that reviews all applications to determine scholarship recipients.

Last academic year, Mass General Brigham University of Health Professions provided $8 million in scholarships and grants. Approximately 25% of incoming students in entry-level programs receive scholarship.

School of Nursing:

  • Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing
  • Direct-Entry Master of Science in Nursing

School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences:

  • Entry-level Doctor of Occupational Therapy
  • Entry-level Doctor of Physical Therapy
  • Master of Physician Assistant Studies
  • Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Master of Science in Genetic Counseling

The University utilizes endowed gifts from donors to support ongoing student scholarships. You do not apply for these scholarships. They will be offered based on the strength of your application. The scholarships cover varying amounts of the total cost of tuition and fees for the program, ranging from 25% to 100%.

 

University Scholarship Requirements

In order to maintain an University Scholarship, recipients must meet all Mass General Brigham University requirements for Satisfactory Academic Progress. More information regarding our Satisfactory Academic Progress Policy can be found in the student catalog.

Scholarships are awarded as funding for program tuition only. They are not granted toward fees or living expenses.

Outside Scholarships

We strongly encourage students to apply for outside scholarships. Each year, many of our students receive some funding from organizations outside of Mass General Brigham University.

Student Work Opportunities

Mass General Brigham University academic programs and departments fund Graduate Assistantships, research assistant, teaching assistant and other work opportunities for University students, allowing students to earn a small stipend to offset some of their educational costs. The opportunities are limited and not guaranteed as they become available as needed, and are managed through the Human Resources Department.
