Anna Haring, PT, DPT is a board-certified Neurologic Clinical Specialist with extensive clinical experience providing advanced care to individuals across the lifespan with complex neurologic, surgical, and medical conditions. Through her leadership role at Massachusetts General Hospital, Anna gained extensive experience mentoring clinicians, guiding evidence-based practice initiatives, and advancing quality improvement efforts within a complex inpatient setting.
Anna earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the MGH Institute of Health Professions in 2015 and now has returned as a PhD student in Rehabilitation Sciences under the mentorship of Prudence Plummer, PhD, PT, BPhysio (Hons). Anna's research interests center on neurological rehabilitation, with a focus on improving assessment and patient outcomes. She is particularly interested in the relationship between cognition and motor performance.
As a clinician, educator, and researcher, Anna is committed to advancing rehabilitation science through interdisciplinary collaboration and translational research. Through doctoral training, she aims to develop the skills necessary to lead research that improves neurological rehabilitation practice and enhances the quality of care for individuals living with neurologic conditions.

Before becoming a physical therapist, Anna worked in behavioral neuroscience research, investigating attention, visual processing, and healthy aging. She has co-authored peer-reviewed publications and presented her work at national conferences. More recently as a physical therapist, Anna regularly presents at professional conferences, contributing to the advancement of neurologic physical therapy practice.
