About the Ionta Center

Welcome

The Center is part of the Department of Physical Therapy in the School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences at the Institute.

Our History

The Center is named for Marjorie K. Ionta, PT, part of the original planning group of founders for Mass General Brigham University (then MGH Institute of Health Professions) who envisioned an interprofessional graduate school to create leaders and master clinicians in the health care professions. She was the first Professor Emerita at the University. Learn more about Ms. Ionta.
