Serving Charlestown and Beyond

Mass General Brigham University plays an active role in helping our local and global communities. As a graduate school for the health professions, we are drawn to help those in need whenever there is a call for assistance. Faculty, students, and staff at the University participate in numerous community activities throughout the year, including service learning via their education and volunteering in their free time.

Community outreach is an integral part of our graduate programs' curricula. Service learning is a teaching and learning strategy that integrates meaningful community service with instruction and reflection to enrich the learning experience, teach civic responsibility, encourage civic engagement, and strengthen communities.
