At MGH, Debbie has responsibility for advancing clinical practice, research, education and community service, and oversight for a staff of over 7000 nurses, health professionals and support personnel. As an affiliate of Mass General Brigham University, she collaborates with the School of Nursing dean Ken White on what the hospital needs and expects from students. A closer relationship with the University brings MGH a strengthened workforce pipeline, and they are working together to see a predictable number of graduates join MGH annually.
